When we were ready to fight back against the dreaded termites we looked through the reviews of the companies in our area here on Yelp. SOLO stood out with only a couple others. We called 3 companies for inspections, only 2 bothered returning the call, and SOLO was first at our door. The gal in the office, Erika, returned all our calls and emails quickly. Jay performed our inspection at a very convenient early morning time and was 10 times more thorough than our other inspection. He explained a lot more about termites to us than anyone else. We decided to tent instead of a spot treatment and Wes came out to provide us the pre-tenting instructions and information. Again, he was very knowledgeable and was a wealth of information. He calmed our fears of tenting and the gas that is used. The tenting contractor they have used for 12 yrs, IDEAL, was also a great company to deal with. Our home was tented in about 90 minutes and tent removal was maybe an hour. IDEAL was very careful with our plants and tile roof. I cant say enough about the people that we worked with from both companies. And every appointment was kept on-time!! On top of all this, SOLO gave us an incredible deal. Some of our neighbors have paid twice as much for termite tenting. Awesome deal - Awesome Company. Thanks again SOLO !! Sending all our family and friends your way !!

WOW! AN HONEST BUSINESS!
Wow! This a very honest business! They called us back right away to schedule an appt. Were prompt on their arrival. We thought that no matter what we were going to have to pay for something. It turned out we did not have termites and we didn't even have to pay for the inspection. We will definitely go to Solo again when we have termite problems!

I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!
I had Jay from Solo come over to my house to do an inspection for termites after I'd found a lot of droppings in my attic. He was courteous and very professional in explaining the different options and why their particular treatment regimen would do the job I needed done. With dogs and pets at my home I didn't want to tent, so Jay came up with a localized treatment plan that would get the job done.
We scheduled the treatment appointment for the following week. Wes, the Solo technician who did the actual work, showed up on time, was aware of all the issues we were dealing with and went straight to work. I couldn't be happier with the results so far. SOLO HAD THE BEST PRICE
We needed a simple inspection to satisfy a refi. Of 3 companies we called, Solo was not only the best price but the first to call back.
Jay came out and did a much more thorough inspection than the inspector did for the actual purchase. Outside, he tapped and visually inspected each piece of exposed wood. Inside, he climbed into corners of the attic that our sale inspector swept with his flashlight from 15 feet away. He answered questions and offered valuable professional advise.
Aside from having a printer in his car and printing the report there on the spot, I could not be more satisfied. Solo will be my first call for anything termite related.

If you were like me, I was working in the blind as I know nothing about pest control for termites. I was very pleased with Solo's service, from the scheduling of the visit, to the initial inspection and then the treatment, I dealt with professional staff and received great customer service.

JAY SAVED ME THOUSANDS
About 9 months ago the house next door to me was in escrow and my new neighbor came to me and said that the company who did the termite inspection said that there were signs of termites at my house. Our house is a paired home. I had her termite company she was using do the inspection. The inspector walked around the outside of my home, then came inside and stood on a ladder and looked into the attic with his flashlight and stated that I have termites. He quickly convinced me that the house needed to be tented and I gave him a deposit. Later that evening I read thru all the disclosures about having a house tented and decided that I needed a second opinion. I called Solo and they sent out Jay. He walked around my outside of my house and then crawled into my attic to do his inspection. He said that there were no signs of termite damage in the attic, but there were some areas outside the home that needed localized treatment and that was it. The house didn't need to be tented. My neighbor had the same inspection results. Neither home needed to be tented. Jay's inspection was very through and with no pressure to buy. Needless to say they took care of the treatment of both homes. I would highly recommend Jay at Solo Termite & Pest Control.

EASY TO WORK WITH!

THOROUGH INSPECTION!
Solo sent Jay Moceri out to do my inspection and he found some water damage and termites. He also mentioned I had a roof leak. Jay referred me to a roofing company and gave me a detailed report on the termites and provided an estimate based on what they found. I found the inspection thorough and the pricing great. While the roof was being repaired the roofing contractor found additional termite damage and the Solo team treated the area the new area, at no additional charge.

Keep in mind, this review is coming from a "details" guy. I'm very detail oriented.
The overall Experience: I had a great experience. Great OC family company. Seemed to care about my property. Nothing but great things to say.
The inspector Steve is fantastic, very good at explaining a difficult complex process to a lay-person. Felt like Steve, whole-heatedly, cared about my home as he would his own. He also took the time to listen to my questions/concerns. He also physically walked with me to areas I thought had termites and walked me thru when the work was complete. This is huge for me. I love the attention to detail. Great guy. Many thanks.
The crew: Tim & Josh were also fantastic. Detailed guys who listened to all of my questions/concerns. They walked me through what was going to be done and why, In addition, at the end did a complete walk-through to be sure all details were complete. They even saw a few touch-up points in a different area and went back to get the paint to do it. They also didn't rush, which I loved. EVEN BETTER IS HAVING SOMEONE YOU CAN TRUST!
We used Solo back in 2008 to rid our home of termites. Much to our dismay we found some droppings (Dec 2013)and asked Jay to come out and verify our next steps. Upon arrival, I showed Jay the area we had concerns with. He was able to make a quick analysis and determined what we thought was termites was nothing to be concerned about. I'm writing this review for two reasons, one he could have sold us some repairs we didn't need. Secondly, he went ahead and did a thorough inspection of our property as well.
I always enjoy getting good news instead of bad, but even better is having someone you can trust working for you.

TERMITE TREATMENT WAS NOT INTRUSIVE
I had a few pest control companies provide free inspections and estimates. True enough, we had an infestation. However, the recommended remedies and pricing varied widely. We didn't want to "tent", so we were looking for alternatives. Solo Termite stood out with the Termador product and pricing, and Jay was professional and knowledgable. Plus Solo had been recommended to me by a number of friends, so they got the job. So glad we chose Solo!! The treatment was not intrusive and was performed quickly. Pricing was very reasonable for the treatment and their annual inspection and treatment program. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I LIKE A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS!!!
I liked the fact that it is a family owned business and they are not out to sell you something you don't need like some of the larger companies I have dealt with in the past. They take pride in giving just plain old good service. Steve Solo did the initial inspection and did so with a fast but thorough method. Very likeable man. He then had Wes, another very capable and friendly man, do the actual work. He explained what, where and how he would proceed; in language I, being an older person, could understand. He was very professional and at the same time had a very pleasant personality....I liked him very much. These are some of the reasons I gave Solo Termite & Pest Control a five star rating.

MORE REASONABLE THAN COMPANY I USED FOR 10YRS
Solo termite showed up on time and did a very thorough inspection. The estimate of work to be completed was e-mailed in a timely manner and the technician showed up on time and had a great attitude.
Wes was very thorough in explaining the types of opwders and spray he was using and the reason for each pestecide.
the cost for service was more reasonable than the company we had been using for about 10 years.

GREAT INSPECTION
Great inspection – only company that videotaped evidence of termite and rat droppings in attic. Great at making changes to proposal to fit my needs. Guys that came out, Wes and Andres, were experienced and detail oriented.
